Reception Parent

Please extend my sincere thanks to all the teachers and staff who contributed to making Super Hero Training Day a great morning for EYFS. Their efforts are greatly appreciated and it was a refreshing change from the usual sports day to an event that catered to the younger children.

 From the very start of the event, it was clear that an immense amount of planning and organisation had gone into making the morning a success. The enthusiasm and energy of the teachers was amazing. Their ability to engage and motivate the students was clear in the high level of participation and the fun, lively atmosphere that surrounded the superhero training.

Today’s sports days was very good, couple of notes on it, the multiple stations worked well, all the kids seemed engaged and I think this was down to a combination of them being constantly busy but also the engagement from all the teachers who manned them, every single one of them was involved with their activities and even towards the end of the day they still seemed full of energy and this definitely rubbed off on the children.

Safety Central

We would like to pass our positive words to you and the classes that came on the visit to Safety Central today. Your pupils were very well behaved and a number of our volunteer Rangers said they were the best group they have had. I myself was delivering as we were short on Rangers and I can say they were amazing. 

 We would also like to thank the staff for managing the groups well, we don’t usual get days that go as well as today.

pleasure getting to know you. My son adores you all he’s grown in to a well 

mannered young man I’m proud that I taught 

him to always have manners but you guys got 

him to where he is now I now feel he is ready 

for high school x

Resource Base Teacher

Thank you so much for entrusting me with the opportunity to be a part of your teaching team. I have truly loved every minute of my time here. The staff have been incredibly helpful, making me feel like a true member of the Oakfield family.

The base class and the speech and language class where I have worked are amazing settings for these children. They are thriving in an environment with fabulous resources and excellent staff. Even in the short time I have been with them, the children have made progress both academically and, most importantly, socially. Having worked in base classes for over seven years, I was blown away by the way the staff and children conduct themselves. The wonderful relationships formed here significantly aid the children in growing in confidence.

Oakfield Primary School is a joyful place where both adults and children are actively learning and growing together. It has been a pleasure to teach such well-mannered and happy students.
